Channelside at Garrison Seaport

This project is located just east of downtown Tampa along the Garrison Channel. It is a 230,000 SF mixed use retail complex featuring forty shops, at least six restaurants, an entertainment center, a movie theater with ten stadium-seating theaters, and an IMAX theater.

The ornate exterior façade, made of structural steel studs and the EIFS finish system, was detailed using eleven different colors, three different textures, and over one hundred different shapes. Getting all of the colors and shapes properly reproduced and placed in the right location was a challenge, but a rewarding one. Each color and shape provide Channelside with a unique look all its own.

We are featured in the February 2001 Walls & Ceiling magazine for our Stucco, Metal Framing, and E.I.F.S. work on this project.

This 45 Million Dollar project is an open air complex built as a family oriented destination. It features upscale one of a kind restaurants, trendy shops, and a 20-screen state of the art movie theater.

Centro Ybor is the crowning glory of the Renaissance of Ybor City. Achieving the Ybor look presented us with the challenge of tying in the long gone past with a modern even futuristic concept.

To duplicate the numerous cornices and cornice caps that were originally made of stone on the old building and decorative pieces, GPM, Inc. teamed up with a manufacturer to produce a product that is novel in the Tampa Bay area, but will hold up to the Florida sun and weather. We also had to achieve a smooth transition from the existing architecture to the over 75,000. Sq Ft. of new decorative façade.
